The project is being implemented in the Obrero region, in the district of Bulan.
The target beneficiaries come from the district’s 55 villages.
The Sisters and lay associates of the Holy Family of Bordeaux have been present there for:

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
To improve living standards for 20 young women and their families.
Activities underway :
Helping 20 selected women launch an income-generating service by providing them with training and start-up kits in two areas :

Home-based beauty treatments (10 women) : massage, hairdressing, make-up, manicures and pedicures
The beneficiaries will work on a freelance basis and earn money also by representing brands and supplies, or by opening small salons or providing services in the home, depending on their clientele (private individuals for weddings and other events).

Mobile catering (10 women) :
Delivering meals to customers; selling their products door to door, in schools, offices, parks, at private parties, religious gatherings and in markets.
